Create lists in Twitter

Creating lists in Twitter is very simple.

1. Just login to your twitter, you can see a new section right below the Twitter logo on top

2. Click the Create a new list button to create a new list.

3. Type  the list name. For example Friends, Business etc…and if you want your lists private select the private, otherwise it will be as default Public. Then click Create list.

4. Your list is created and displayed on the right side of the page just below the search box. You can add you followers or people from others profile in to your list.

Lists – Twitter New Feature

Lists, a new feature in Twitter is a better way to organise information in Twitter. You can create both public and private lists under your profile and can add your twitter followers and also others to you list. By default the list are public, so every one can view your lists, but you can make it private. You can create any number of lists and what all lists you are creating will come under your Twitter profile/account.

For example you can create lists for your friends, business, relatives etc and make it private or public. Lists are all about segmenting your followers.

Link Facebook and Twitter

Facebook comes with an application to connect your Facebook and twitter accounts together. Once this application is added it will save the hassle of logging in to both twitter and Facebook to update the status. Your current tweets in twitter will displayed in Facebook as your status message. But in Facebook you status message from twitter will show that the status is updated via Twitter.

How to add this application:

  1. Login to Facebook and search for “Twitter” in the search field on top right of the page.  Alternatively, it can be accessed directly by this URL: www.facebook.com/apps/application.php?id=2231777543

2.    Click the Add Application.

3. Add Twitter to your Facebook Account.

Choose your preferred settings and click ‘Add Twitter’.

4.  Login to Twitter. You can login to your Twitter from here. This application is made for twitter so don’t be  afraid about account hack or any sort of things.

5.  Important thing to note here is: Select to have Twitter update your Facebook status.

News Feed & Live Feed in Facebook

The new interface of Facebook is out with News Feed and Live Feed. When you login to Facebook you can able to toggle between two views.

  • News Feed
  • Live Feed

When you view you Facebook home page using News Feed you can only view user specific updates and posts. Here Facebook uses a logic to display the post and updates of your Facebook friends who you are tagged in any photos or you both have joined in a common group or common fan etc.

Live Feed shows all activities of your friends in Facebook like post, comments, photo tagging, became a fan, newFacebook application added etc.
